What Do I Offer?

I offer face-to-face diagnostic assessments for children aged between 8 and 16, using a range of standardised tests, informal observation and background information to decide if a diagnosis of dyslexia should be made.

About Me

Assessment

The assessment involves a variety of tests covering underlying ability (verbal and visual), cognitive processing, including working memory and processing speed, and attainments in reading and writing.

Understanding of Dyslexia

The report links your child's cognitive processing profile to the recognised definition of dyslexia, helping you to understand what dyslexia is and the impact it is having on your child's literacy skills and wider learning.

Recommendations

Based on the assessment results, I offer personalised recommendations and strategies to support your child's learning and academic progress.

Parental Guidance

I provide recommendations and resources to help parents better understand and support their child with dyslexia.
